I make software.

I’m a software engineer in Cape Town. I like taking messy problems apart and putting them back together with fewer moving pieces.

Most days, I bounce between mobile, backend, and product work. I prototype when I’m unsure, trust types more than optimism, and notice when the padding is off.

When I’m not building software, I’m usually somewhere on a mountain with my dog. At work, give me a tricky problem and a quiet afternoon to chase it down.
